In Memoriam: LCpl Jason Hill

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - On Saturday, June 18, 2011 LCpl Jason Hill returned home after being killed in combat action in Afghanistan.  He was 20 years old. 

LCpl Hill reported to MCRD on June 11, 2010.   He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force and deployed to the northern Helmand Province of Afghanistan in April 2011.  LCpl Hill was killed on June 11, 2011.

At the behest of RSS Poway, SSgt Nichols attended LCpl Hill’s arrival at MCAS Miramar.  LCpl Hill was laid to rest today, June 23 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.

To LCpl Jason Hill’s Family, Friends and Loved ones, may God be with you during your time of hardship.
