Drew Carey and the Marine Corps Half Marathon

FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA - The Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon in Fredericksburg, VA had a special participant: Drew Carey of the Price is Right. Carey served in the Marine Corps in the 1980s.

His finishing time was 1 Hour 58 Minutes.

Carey served as the official starter for the weekend race. When asked why he was dedicating himself to better health, Carey mentioned his son.

"I couldn't keep up with him, he's only four. This is no good."

"I really enjoy being fit and healthy again. I have so much more energy now."

When asked about the Marine Corps, Carey stated, "it's a real big honor for me to be here as a former Marine."

Carey also announced his intention to do the Marine Corps Marathon in October.
