MARINE CORPS AIR STATION BEAUFORT - An estimated 90,000 people turned out Saturday with thousands more expected today at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. The air show was part of a celebration of 100 years of Naval Aviation. The Blue Angels highlighted the weekend event.
“This is a chance to see what the military is all about" said one spectator.
The air show included vintage equipment such as Corsairs and Hueys. Also appearing are the Army’s Golden Knights parachute team and the Parris Island Marine Corps Brass Band.
